My news of the our day is a short story. I just barely walked in from a fun-filled weekend at FCYD= Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes. Sooo...a diabetes camp for kids--for fun! I was the counselor with "two others" over eight girls ranging in ages from 8-12. Our weekend is filled with activities including snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, dancing, relay races, zooing, and oogling at the opposite gender.
The resort where we do the first few activities is about 30 minutes from where our camp is located, so obviously, we'd need to kill time. Many people volunteer to help shuttle the kids to and from places we go to since many of the staff are not car-ful or age-ful. (ha ha, I mean they aren't carred or aged)
A nice middle-aged man had offered to shuttle my girls, co-counselors, and myself to the resort Friday morning. Along the way, a suggestion from the back (yes, I did call shotgun no battle) is proclaimed "Let's play the alphabet game!" Everyone got excited for the idea and asked for instructions on how it's done.
"You start with the letter A and you go through the alphabet naming fruits and vegetables....for example A:avocado, B: banana, C: carrot....so on"
Ready. Go.
"Apple."
"Banana."
"Asparagus."
"Carrot."
"Avocado."
Fail. New idea. Let's name as many fruits and vegetables that start with the letters just A.
"Apple."
"Asparagus."
"Avocado."
"Apricot."
Silence filled the van. Then it was broken with an excited answer:
"Anchovies!"
Our driver breaks into laughter for these delightful cute kids I had as camper and the impression of "Kids say the darndest things."
If only he knew.....it was one of my co-counselors.....who happens to be in culinary school.
Oh, to be in the life of Kat.

Worldwide Aging Epidemic
Friends,
It has recently come to my attention that there is an epidemic of epic portions that can be found worldwide – aging. I call it an epidemic because it affects 100% of the world’s population. Also, there is no cure. No masapper is safe from aging.
I have compiled a useful list of the symptoms of aging. If you think you might be aging then check the list. If you answered yes to any of the question then I am afraid that you may be aging.
Symptoms of aging:
1. A noticeable decline in movement and coordination -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-PzbvQCAAc
2. Sudden mood swings, violent temperaments -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVJNiG7_op0&feature=related
3. Erratic driving - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y1e0skfJts&feature=related
4. Decline in technological knowledge - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khhC5UkiNd4
There are, however, some positive side effects to aging:
1. Electric Buggy Racing - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt14BLvalsc
2. Maturity & money (or so they claim) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLU0ZbgIL7I
If you have met any of the above conditions then you may be aging. Best of luck to you.
Advice of the day: The best way to solve a bad case of writer’s block when you’re writing a letter is to seal the envelope.

Top Ten Most Hardcore Men
First, Video. Next, voting results.
Well masappers, it looks like today is the day. The day for the publication of our voting results!!!!
Reminder to those of you who did not know: we were voting to see who is the most hardcore man in the world. And you know what? Some of the results surprised me. And some of them were very much anticipated.
Top 10 Most Hardcore Men:
1) Tie. Jason Bourne and The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. Not sure if that is a two way tie, or a four way tie…
2) Steve Nash. Quite the popular dude.
3) Matt Damon. (Apparently some people did not know that Jason Bourne plays Matt Damon)
4) Michael Sylvestre. I am not making this up. In the exalted opinions of masappers across the globe, Mike is no. 4.
5) Nelson Mandella. Viva Mandella! Nkosi Sikeleli Afrika.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXKur2FAN7g&
6) Batman. He’s way hardcore.
7) Jackie Chan. Hmmmm… I thought he was Chinese.
8) Tie. James Blunt and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Seems like a lopsided tie to me.
9) Jeff Downing. I love this man. Check him out athttp://www.facebook.com/jeff.downing3
10) Captain Moroni. Glad he made the cut.
It was a good vote! Thanks for taking part in it.
Uncle Sam, also the Voter.

life in 3d
put on your glasses because this newsletter is going to be in 3D

5000 points if you already have 3D glasses on and 10000 points if you reached for the ones that i made on the page.
i have noticed that a lot of movies are being put in 3D. i think its because they can.
i started to think about that today. i started to wonder what life would be like if it were in 3D. things would seem so life like as if you can just reach out and touch them. if someone threw a ball or another object at you, you would duck cause it would appear as though the object would hit you. just imagine how amazing life would seem.
also a word of warning do not do things just because you can. i can turn into a giant wolf but do i? No because i would have to spend a fortune on new clothes or just very stretchy ones. i can tell you that are hot and heavy admin and i are betroved from the first we met but i wont cause i do not want to jinx it.
well i am watching the office right now so i will talk to you all later, this is your speaker of the house making an end to my speech.
Michael Sylvestre, Speaker of your House.
